Datasmith Direct Link Workflow

I am modelling a project in Vectorworks 2023 in order to utilize a 3D model to develop plans for the design. I hope to use Unreal Engine 5 for the rendering environment since there is a Datasmith Direct Link built in to Vectorworks. However when I try to establish a link, none of my meshes made in VWX are found and therefore not imported. Is there a step in this workflow that I am missing?

Is any asset coming in UE from directlink:
product tree in world outliner? Materials, textures?

Did you “sync” the scene using datasmith plugin in Vectorworks, not 100% sure about that as I never used vectorworks.
