Customized Game Soundtrack Series (Music Ideas)- Anyone Interested?

Hello everyone, I’m a professional composer for games & film and I’ve been looking into producing content for the marketplace. I’m trying to get a sense of what people want in order to provide the best bang-for-the-buck so to speak. It seems that many of you would like to have a more personalized soundtrack that seems intentional rather than just an assortment of unrelated music. Would anyone be interested in a very thematic soundtrack set- with recurring themes that could be used for places/characters, villains, etc? Just trying to get an idea of something cool to start with that a lot of you would like. I primarily do symphonic scores, but can do electronic or ambient styles as well.

As for my work, feel free to check out my site, www.samostudios.com if you like. I’ve worked on film scores and popular game remix albums such as Metroid Cinematica, and Harmony Of Heroes.

I’m thinking something general-purpose with a consistent feel in the vein of a fantasy RPG like: Title theme, looping area/background pieces, a couple specific mood cues, a couple battle tracks, and an ending. To start with anyway, and could always make some additional stuff (like specific character themes) that could be acquired separately if they are wanted. If there is more interest in other genres, like sci-fi, post apocalyptic, etc, I’d love to hear about it. I’m always up for ideas as to any music content I can provide for developers here

Hi Same Studios, can you clarify what you mean by Customized Game Soundtrack Series? Is this the equivalent to Modular Music? If so, AWESOME!!! I’ve been waiting for music design in this fashion for some time. I’m for all Genres but, have a tendency to classify music by the emotion or mood its intended to induce. I like your first proposal for Fantasy as I’m working on a Action RPG that has opportunities for horror/jumpscares. Looking for something different, perhaps Epic Soundtracks with doses of Electronica/Dubstep mixed in.

Sure thing! Modular music is certainly do-able. At this point I have submitted a small sample pack for a dark/intense fantasy type sound, just a free set, and I’m waiting to see how that goes over. When I say “customized” I mean a full cohesive soundtrack that is more like something that would be done specifically for a single game, rather than having a more generic, disconnected track-by-track sound.
