Customize linetracebychannel draw debug

Hi I’m making a VR game where you can pick up and rotate objects by looking at them. As most people know in the linetracebychannel BP you have a draw debug type that gives you a red lazer type sight that you can turn off by setting the draw debug type to none but how would I replace that with my own customized line. The effect I am trying to go for would be a blue emissive line that would stop at the object I am looking at.

search for: “unreal Beam emitter”

for setting start and end (just like line trace has) use those:

for it to work you need to set some property in beam data inside emitter.

There seems to be plenty of tutorials out there on this I just needed to know the correct term to search for. Thanks.
