Creating character content for the marketplace/community What do you need?

Correction: We will be providing both a female and male modifiable character. Complete with morph targets, a few hair types, clothing types, and a customization menu system unparalleled to anything else on the market. We’re using morph targets, bone scaling, dynamic materials… the works. It will be some groundbreaking stuff.

Regarding the genitalia, well, that’s just the rules. We have to follow the rules set in place by Epic Games. They said no genitalia, so we can’t put it in the package. Here’s a new kicker for you tho, they also said no nipples. So we can’t even have nipples on the character models. I hear ya, I know what you’re thinking, “no nipples either?!!?” as I was also surprised to learn of this limitation myself. But those are the rules and we have to follow them.

Please keep in mind however that this does not in any way mean that we won’t provide a separate package on a personal store that will add nipples to the materials. We just can’t have them included in the package on Epic Games Unreal Market. They’d just have to be in a separate package on a personal 3rd party store. It’s all good. We are taking notes on what everyone is requesting. Anything that we aren’t allowed to sell on Epic’s market we will sell through our own store.

Awesome! Glad to hear this.

Some people might shake their heads or chuckle, but there are plenty of more simulationist games where nudity is a feature desired by the playerbase, and these games are even decently, or in the case of Rust in particular, extremely, popular. Mortal Online, also comes to mind.

For one thing, in games that strive to be realistic, and have stuff to the detail of lip-syncing, facial expressions, detailed hair and clothing, blemishes and watery eyes, it makes no sense for everyone to be verisimilitude-breaking Ken-dolls.
