Creating a Timer - Super Quick Tutorial

Hey guys.

I have just started using unreal and I am making tutorials that’s just get straight to the point. Here is one for creating a time in 4 mins

Please help me out and subscribe as I am trying to hit 1k subscribers.

Worst timer tutorial ever.
You use Delay in Tick. and do the Second counting manually.

All you have to do is to accumulate DeltaTime and you have your seconds (+fraction). Truncate it to get Seconds and divide by 60 to get minutes.

Hey, I have a timer connected to a widget ingame, but I want it to include milliseconds, do you have any advice on how to do that?

Thanks in advance

Milliseconds are the first two digits after the decimal point.
i.e. just use frac on this and multiply by 100 and truncate this.

At least he made an effort to share something with the community, so why can’t you be a littlebit more respectful?

To limit the decimal points, you can use a ToText(float) > “ToString” > “To Float” , the last 2 being simple convert nodes
In the “ToText” node set the maximum fractional digits to 2.
