Creating a custom volume(player detection)

I have a custom volume which is inherited from “Volume.h” class.

The custom volume can be placed and edited in game with BSP editing tools. But how can I detect when a player enters and leaves the volume?


You can create Actor blueprint and add Box (Capsule, Sphere) component for you volume. For this component you need add event. In this example, if player inside volume, on screen you see message “Inside!”. When player leave volume, we get message on screen “Outside!”

Well that’s limited to only cuboids. Volumes can be edited with BSP tools to create any random shapes. So, is it supported in any way?
