I was told to post my issue in a different thread.
I’m trying to test and push UE4 onto a low-end tablet; the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite (SM-T110). But I crash when the app is launched on the device. I reviewed the Android Compatibility list (A new, community-hosted Unreal Engine Wiki - Announcements - Unreal Engine Forums) and it lists the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 (SM-T210R), but by comparison, I don’t see much of a difference between the two devices; same screen res and size, CPU and GPU. Here is my repro:
- Using Engine build 4.7.6 Binary.
- Verified scene is not using Mobile HDR.
- Packaged with ETC1 compression and built successfully.
- Deployed to device without errors
- Launched game through icon on main screen. Screen goes black for 4 seconds and then returns to the main screen again.
