Crash may occur if you rescale after switching to selection mode in foliage mode.
At this time, even if all UE5 is saved, the data being worked on will be lost, which is a big problem.
It may be difficult to improve because it is not reproducible, but could you fix it?
I’m having the same issue. using the single select tool and either rescaling or just moving them crashes the engine on mouse release. Have you found a fix for this?
Again, I am very confused.
Due to this crash, after using UE5, I lost about a day of work data.
Examine, place and complete! Data will be lost at that point. I hesitate to start working again.
If it stays like this, I’m thinking of stopping using UE5.
Epic Games has no answer to this question?
It’s not happening in UE4.
My UE5 keeps crashing when i paint foliage on the landscape
I find out that if I paint on a single landscape, everything goes correct
But if I use a landscape that contains many landscape blocks(idk the name of them, but they are separate blocks), my nightmare comes
i can’t change my landscape, because i generated that using a heightmap, and i had tried many ways to make it generate a single landscape, but failed everytime
Can epic ever fix a bug? Like just once? Same issue, adding any foliage to my project crashes 100% of the time, instantly, over and over. Just upgraded to 5.2.1 hoping it would work better, same crap. Epic, I’ve lost all faith in you.
I am crashing non-stop after adding any foilage in UE5.3 scene. Not sure what to do.
