This was supposedly fixed in 4.15, we’ll see. I have the same problems as you sadly ;(

I am sorry to hear you are having a crash on compile. I welcome you to log a bug report on the UE4 Answerhub (click the link in my signature) and support staff can review, although as Victor says this may already be a known and fixed issue.
