Crash: Disabling NVIDIA Aftermath crashes the engine


After installing the 4.19.1 hotfix, my project would always crash immediately after the editor was launched. After a lot of trouble shooting I found that is was due to the DefaultEngine.ini and after even more faffing about, I found that it’s because:


If I set that to 1 or just remove the line completely, the project works fine.

This should be looked at and fixed. Funny how having NVIDIA Aftermath OFF crashes it, but not the other way around.

Would you mind submitting a bug report here

We’re very eager to get Aftermath back on by default to help drive towards addressing the GPU hangs that have been occurring, but I want to make sure we’re not introducing new issues with it on.

Just curious what version did you start this project on?
