Controlling time with vertex texture anim

hi. this is my first post.! :slight_smile:
I’m just starting out on my realtime voyage.
I’m looking for the best way to control time when using a vertex animated texture coming from houdini.
I’m trying to play through the first part of the animation, and loop over just the second part of the sequence.
Is it best to do this in a blueprint, or in the material itself. The final output needs to ideally be controlled in the sequencer .
Any advice is much appreciated.
