Constant Player Drift


I’m fairly new to unreal and am trying to set up, within the 2D starter example project, a constant drift upwards for the player character. By this I mean, the character constantly moves upwards at a set speed. Similar to what you might see in a typical side scrolling game.

Look at tutorials, your problem in question is easy to solve, but there are many different ways to do it, all depends on game setup you want. But because you new to it you do not know what setup you need down the road. So watch tutorials, follow some basics of game template creation.

on event tick, get current player character location, add to it some constant value and set character location to new value.

That is basic idea of it.
