I am stuck. I added a head socket to my character mesh. If I add a camera component to the character or the character mesh, or I add the camera to the scene not as a component, I cannot find where, or how, to connect the camera to the head socket. The various older threads and help videos show the camera details having a socket entry field, but the current version of unreal does not have it. So, how do I now get a camera connected to a head socket so that the camera will move with the head and be the character’s eyes? Thanks.
when you add a camera to your blueprint click on it and in the details panel under sockets type in the name of the socket you want to parent it to
The camera has to be a child of the mesh for the bones to show up
