Collisions between objects and character


I have a car that moves froward constantly on a road and there are different objects on the road that when the car hits them are thrown around. How do i make the car not change direction when hitting the objects. Eg: if the car hist the object to the right and not in the center the object will be thrown to the left but the car will also change her direction a bit to the right so depending how much the car changed direction after the collision with the object eventually will run out the road.
Think of the old games that you where on a road and got points for hitting and destroying other cars.

Either redirection your car after hit something, or manully impact those object instead of using physics collision.
