City Sample crashing When I try to play

I’m getting the same behaviour, to the point I just stopped trying.

I did get it to run as a separate process but it ran 30 seconds or so before crashing.

I get a “Navmesh needs to be rebuilt” message when I open either of the two maps.
Tried building the project, after four hours the message went away, but it crashed when I tried to run it. In Editor and as a separate window.

I get a crash from a process called “ShaderCompilerWorker.exe” with an error message saying that “The application could not start correctly”

I also tried packaging an executable but as it goes, when it gets to 3000 or so packages left to pack then it starts complaining about files that can’t be found (I’ve checked and the files are there)

This happens in both the large and small city maps.

I’m running a 22 core 2.2 GHz Intel processor, 128 Gb memory, TITAN RTX (latest studio drivers) Windows 10 and UE 5.0.1, and have made sure I have a correct environment regarding Visual Studio and all that.

It’s encouraging to find someone that is having the same problem…
