Cinematic Camera in level sequence looks good in editor, but does not have the right values when playing

I’m new to level sequences so forigve me if this is a rookie mistake.
I have this level sequence in the scene where I make my cinematic camera follow a rig rail and become blurrier over time (to put it simply). This looks exactly as it should in editor.
However, when I click play it correctly follows the rig rail, but the camera is already blurry at the start. When I set the blurriness at the end of the sequence to 0 (for example), there will be no blurriness at the start when I click play, so for some reason the camera takes the values from the end of the sequence and already has these at the start.
