Charaters "pop" when running at each other

I have enemies running at the player character and the player character running to the nearest one(all using “Simple Move to Actor”). When they make it to each other/hit each other, the enemy gets knocked back flying in the air a good 20 feet. This only happens then they are both running at full sprint at each other. The other enemies go to the player just fine, and sometimes it doesn’t even happen.

When I set the max FPS to 15 or so, it will happen nearly every time. So maybe it’s the characters trying to move in the same spot? I have them set to stop at a certain distance from each other, which minimizes it but if I go further away it doesn’t seem natural.

Has anyone else had this problem? Or have have ideas to avoid the pop.
