Character teleporting when shooting the projectile into trigger area

Hello, I am currently having an issue I can’t seem to find the solution to.
I have a trigger volume that puts the player back to a certain location when they step in it, but the problem I have is that when the player shoots a projectile from their gun into the zone, it still teleports them.

I think the issue has to be with how the projectile blueprint is inside of the Character itself. How would I go about fixing this?

Is there a way of making the teleport function ignore the projectile only?
