Character Collision isn't working

Hi all, so I have a 2d character with a flipbook component and capsule component but when i set the capsule component to block all, my player still goes right through the object that is also set to block all. When I set it to overlap I get my overlap function printing but I want to use blocking volumes to constrain my character. I am out of ideas for what to do, can anyone help please?

I also tried this but there is still no collision but thanks anyways
