Change Default Material for Numerous Static Meshes

Does anyone know if it is possible to change the Default Material assigned to a number of selected Static Meshes?

I feel like I’ve tried just about everything and it seems you can only open each mesh, one by one, and you have to manually change their default material in the Mesh Browser, save it and repeat.

The only way that I know is to drag and drop your meshes into your scene -> then select all -> in the mesh properties assign your material. But the materials will just show up in the current level! So it’s better when you assign the materials in your static mesh editor (I know that it takes pretty much time, but as far as I know there isnt another way :()

Thanks fighter. I was aware of mass-editing them in a per-level basis, but was looking to be able to bulk edit them on the mesh editor level as you mentioned.

Maybe a future update will allow for this… :frowning:
