I hope someone can help…
I have been looking at anim dynamics and it all seemed straight forward enough until I started creating chains. At this point, I was able to make a chain with multi-directional constraints and it simulated OK (though still quite energetic). The problem came when I tried to get this working in the game, nothing happened so I thought there needed to be some anim dynamic nodes in the character blueprints anim graph, I created these for simpler dynamic simulations. but here is the problem, these nodes set up behaviors that seem to be covered in the chain constraints setup. I gave it a go anyway but the chain completely broke apart. Obviously I am doing something fundamentally wrong. Does a chain, working in the physics editor, need anim dynamic nodes in the characterBP. If so, how are these set up? If not, why can’t I see my chain animating in the game?
