Can't merge Laser + Photos

I can see that the laser provides a very even/regular mesh density,
whereas the images have the ability to provide very fine mesh details, much finer than the laser.

I suppose this should be contrary maybe. Can you show what you mean? Have you changed reconstruction settings somehow?
