I get a “IS-DS01: Out of disc space before trying to install a game” error repeatedly when trying to install the Unreal Engine, Version 4.25.3. The installer says I need an extra 12.75 or so Gb, and that only 15.53 Gb is available. The main Mac Drive has nearly 72.3 Gb available.

Hmm…slightly related to your question is getting IS-DS01 Error when installing Fortnite on Mac. I have solved it in two different ways you might want to look.
