just like the title says I can’t clone the engine
I followed the steps in the wiki but I think the problem is that my internet connection is really slow
and every time the process break in the middle due to “timeout”
is there any way I can increase the timeout limit ?? or alternative way to clone the source ?
You can always try downloading the sources as a zip. Not sure whether you could use a download manager to be able to resume but it’s always worth a try.
and linking it to git ?
Maybe you can find an Internet Cafe or something allowing you to clone it to an USB stick, once you have a full clone your home internet might be able to sustain fetching/pushing source code between your copy and github.
I haven’t tried it myself but I would imagine it should work, using the zipped sources to ‘repair’ your clone.
