I go to my dads house every other weekend so I need a laptop that I can use unreal engine 4 with, can anyone recommend a half decent laptop?
Your best choice depends on your budget and your needs, really.
That said, I’m currently using a Lenovo Y50 to work on my projects away from the desk and it’s been great in terms of handling Unreal.

If you’re aiming for high quality game, then get a desktop.
If you’re aiming for low-end mobile game, my MacBook Air works fine. 
I have a Lenovo Y560 for development when I am away from my main Dev machine. The trick is to get a laptop with a dedicated Graphics Card.
But as PUNK pointed out, it does depend on you game target. I only use my laptop to quickly check things and test things … all my core development is done on my PC.
i use a samsung(ATIV) np470 and it handle UE4 quite nicely when im away from the PC
