Camera Zoom. Top Down

I have made a blueprint to zoom the camera in a thirdperson example project. It uses the mouse wheel to zoom in and out by the spring arm. For some reason I can not figure out how to make the same thing work in the top down example project. Something is stopping the character blueprint from changing the camera controls. Ive been at this for hours plz help.

Never mind I got it! It was sooo simple. just go to the controller blueprint and un check the disable input. Then set up your controls in the character blueprint.
