Hello Camera Distance Based Tessellation was in 4.8 and perhaps before, and is in 4.9. It is automatic with tessellation for the material and is culled from a certain distance from the material. However I can’t find anywhere on controlling the distance, no input and no mention of an input to where I have looked in Google. Instead RyanB says in the thread below how it can be done. But is there a way to do it without adding this, or is adding it the only option, as it automaticly works in UE4 4.9. I just wish that I could vary the distance.
Update: Tried RyanBs results with my own material, but it did not work. Perhaps implementation went wrong but I would still like too know a way too up the distance cutoff for tessellation.
