We are working with cable and rope physics in the engine but do not know how to get the cable to detach during the matinee.
We want to have cables attached to fixed points on a large object on one end and smaller objects on the other. Over the course of the matinee, the cables are going to detach from the smaller objects but still remain attached to the larger object on the other end. The loose end should then dangle freely. How would we do this?
For another animation, we are also trying to make the cables snap during the matinee and whip backward from the force of the snapping. How do we do this as well?
