Bypass Gameplay Framework?

Hi there,

I’ve read somewhere that it’s possible to bypass the Gameplay Framework(I was thinking of bypassing extraneous stuff like GameSession, GameState, GameMode etc that do not pertain to general application development).

So is there an engine setting to do this?

Is there any documentation that describes what “gaps” the developer will need to watch out for if not using the Gameplay Framework?

FYI, I’m using blueprints for development.
