ive just started messing around with blender and unreal engine and i used the first person template in unreal, changed out the sphere projectile the gun shoots by default with a bullet i made in blender but now when i shoot the bullet its coming out of the gun sideways. how do i rotate it so its straight.
you’ve exported the mesh with the wrong orientation. go back to blender, rotate it the right way and reexport it then reimport it to ue4
There is also an option to Force the object to be forwarded on the axis, if you look at import panel.
Otherwise, as ixicalibur stated, you will have to change the orientation of the model and reimport.
