Built light doesn't show on static mesh facing specific direction.

I couldn’t upload the image here, since it gave me a database error. But I have asked the same question here.

Basicaly, my problem is:

  1. I have one static mesh for representing all the walls of an apartment.
  2. I believe I have successfuly created a lightmap in 3ds max for building light on them
  3. When I build lights, there comes a strange behavior.
  4. Wall faces that facing to a spesific direction is either pure black or there are little spots on them.

What is the problem here? Is global illumination relevant for this?

This looks like a lightmap UV problem. Make sure that each wall has a separate UV island and make sure they don’t overlap.

Last time I checked, they have seperated UV islands.
