There is any news about a fix of the issue of particle system using a translucent material not visible with an orthographic camera ?
It’s a serious issue when working on a 2D game.
I had the same issue, solved it by setting ‘sort priority’ on the particle system and also making the sprite material double sided. (no idea why that worked)
Now I have the issue again, the particles are visible in editor (even orthographic views) but not in PIE or standalone.
EDIT: Got it to work again. Sort mode: Facing Mode: Face Camera Plane, View Distance, Sort Order Hint: 100
