Recently I had an issue with the scale bar that is being displayed in an orthophoto.
It was very different (like factor 1.5 or so) in different orthos of the same component, everything geo-referenced by laserscan.
The orthos themselves were absolutely to scale.
Can’t create a screenshot right now because it’s processing.
Did not notice any pattern…
Hello,
I am afraid we will need more information (best screenshots) to check this.
Ok, here we go - was my longest calculation so far…

Scale-bar_2.jpg
I did not play around with zoom or anything, so the relative size is all right, only the displayed bar is off…
It seems to be similar in all my models, although to a different extent.
Here a different model in close up - the ortho pixel size is 0.0002, so it should be 5 pixels per mm (unit is m).
But in one (random) zoom step it is displayed as 8 pixles per mm (0.001) and then as 10 pixels per mm (scale = 1/10th mm for one pixel).

Sometimes it is correct though…
Hi,
we haven’t been able to reproduce it yet, but our developers will have a closer look at it for sure.
Thanks for letting us know
Always a pleasure!
Would a sample file help?

possibly
Is the project-file and -folder enough?
I could delete all the models so that it isnt as huge.
the source images are not neccessary I hope?
It will have to wait because it’s calculating at leas till tomorrow night…

project file + folder
you can delete the models, but leave the ortographic projection(s) there
the source images aren’t needed
It’s uploading right now.
You should get an email soon…
