Brush converted to Static Mesh - Texure Problem

Hi Folks,

I hope that some has a solution for me.
If I build a simple table with some brushes in Unreal Editor (Version 4.7), put materials on them and use allignment movement for the texture acuteness,
all these allignment changes are gone after converting these brushes into a Static Mesh.
They have “default”-positions, before I did the allignment tweaks and look ugly.

Can anyone help me with this problem, please ?


That is because the mesh is not UV unwrapped. if you convert a brush to a mesh, all faces are by default planar aligned and cover the entire UV space.
For anything other than solid color materials you need to unwrap the model in a 3D application.
