Bound Camera crashing game

I have bound a camera within the Player’s pawn blueprint to a socket attached to the players head. The camera has control over the player controller, plus control over pitch and yaw. But whenever the player looks up or down over, say, about 60 degrees, the camera shoots up into the sky, then crashes the whole engine/Standalone game.

I’ve been trying for ages to fix this and I’m getting nowhere. If you can help, I’d be most thankful!
