Blueprint gamepad to keyboard differences

I don’t know if anyone else has experienced this problem. I am working on and getting some help from everyone over on the answers.unrealengine.com site on setting up a Third Person Shooter Camera system. Here is some of what information I’ve been trying to keep in one location for others to follow. https://answers.unrealengine.com/questions/19985/how-do-i-create-a-third-person-shooter-camera-syst.html but when adjusting a Spring Arm Component ArmLength using the same variables for a gamepad and keyboard, the Gamepad doesn’t fully read an variable setting. I had to do an “add” function only on the gamepad input on the release (no matter what gamepad input “key” was used) and not the keyboard.
