Oh I do have the same issue myself, but I am pretty sure if you copypaste the Fortnite.digest.verse code from the link above, then when it changes the next time you are able to Ctrl+Z it back to where you had it before, although the file stays in an unsaved state. That is how I have solved it for now. Also did you try the verifying files through epic as user TheCreaitor suggested?
