Blocked editor when clicking "Add new"

Hello,

I’m new to UE4 and I couldn’t find my issue on Google.
I’m using Windows 10.

When I click on the “Add new” button, my editor become blocked, I can’t click on many Hud elements like Content on the top right or place a new element in my level. Besides, tooltips are weird and always show “Create a new asset in …” (the tooltip of “Add new” button) and when I try to open a window like Message log for example, it is all white.

I already tried to verify and then to reinstall ue4 but it didn’t do anything.

This might be a stupid question, but are you using Windows 10 on a Mac Computer? If you are running Parallels, Windows 10 will not support UE 4.12.

No, I’m using windows 10 on a laptop.

@tetsumi96 Dunno about parallels, but on my mac in VMware Fusion a Windows VM runs UE 4.10, 4.11, and 4.12 just fine.

Have you run all you Software Updates for Windows? Are you graphics drivers up-to-date?

Don’t know what happened but it works well now, maybe the last version of Nvidia pilot fixed it.
