Blend animation of skeletal mesh after certain time


What i’m trying to do is simple. Have a skeletal mesh blend into another animation after a certain time. I already have my skeletal mesh with his two animations. Got my blendspace 1d too and my blueprint containing my character.

Basically, I followed this. It seems to be for the player, but I have modified it (like I think it works) to work with a skeletal mesh in my scene. However, I haven’t been able to make it work. The cast always fails.

If you look at the blendspace, you can just blend the animation after a certain time there.
