Blend 2 animations, second one desired bones movement and rotations do reference in the first one

Hi, I’m starting practicing animation in Unreal, had look at content examples and some tutorial in Youtube, but stuck at some point. Wish to blend 2 animations to save lot of states and for smoother transitions. For example I’ve Idle animation and has some responses with the arms and its hands, and for example another animation for pick up object, wish to know if cand send pickup animation blended with idle (or walking, etc.) replacing the arm animation of pick up in the idle one. I remember time ago in Unity 3D some practice like that, was independant the skeleton parts, how can be done in Unreal?
