Better control/artistic Depth of field in PPV

Hi,
It’s very regrettable and limiting to have only one method left in UE for achieving Depth of field in Post process Volumes/Camera.

This approach of trying to mimic physically based lens (and eyes adaptation btw) might be great for certain realistic artistic directions, but why only that method?
I personally don’t care if my DoF is realistic or not, I just want a to be able to control it easily to get the effects I need (something like the parameters for mobile DoF/ old UE would be good).

For example, with the current method I can’t find how to get no blur from 0 to 6 meters and then progressive blur in after that distance.
As you can see in the screenshot, it’s all blurry except in the focal zone, which is like a camera works, sure, and could be fine for a photo, but not what I want for my artistic direction nor for gameplay…

So, just a voice to say it would be great to no limit the engine on physical realistic methods, for DoF, Exposure/Eyes adaptation mainly.
