I´m trying to get AI characters to rotate properly towards the direction they are heading. The movement in initialised by random waypoints in an array. I already tried a couple of approaches, namely “find look at rotation”, “orient rotation to movement” and “get unit direction vector” nodes. Basically I want to get the directon vector and store that in a “direction” variable besides rotating the actors so I can use that information for other cases like tracing for surrounding objects.
So far I wasn´t successful (actors always facing in same direction regardless of movement), it seems to be more complicated or I have the wrong approach to the whole thing. Is there a good way to handle it? Thanks for any help!
