I want to make a realistic gun fire burst particle like this in Battleship
I’ve take snapshots for every frames in the movie
I spend some time to look at how to use Maya fluid simulation and I got this dummy burst result.
And I tried to look at the
guide here to import vector field to UE4.
However, this seems only support single frame vector field import…
So when I try that on the sample particles I got this （probably not what I want。。）
So I want to know how to replicate this kind of firing effect in UE4’s particle system…
Maybe I can do that without importing stuff from 3DSMAX or Maya? (I don’t think there is other visual effects importing stuffs…). Or maybe the secret lies in the subtle numerical settings with multiple emitters?
