Hi guys.
I am new to UE4 community. I was doing things for more then 10 years in Stalker community and a little bit in Amnesa.
I have an amateur question about what is the best way to create destroyed wall especially for UE4. Photo reference is linked to this post. You see in Stalker I would have to low-poly model the convexity of stucco part to make it look elevated compared to bricks part. In Stalker I could not achieve that with normal maps baked form high-poly. What can advice in case of UE4? Is it better to model that bricks/stucco difference (I mean on low-poly) OR can I use completely flat low-poly and baked normals would be just fine? What do you think?
Thanks in advance!
