Greetings fellow Unreal Engine enthusiasts.
I’m working on my project which is based on dark dungeons. The way I set everything up is pretty basic since I’m still considered a beginner. I have around ~30 point lights in my level, which are all static. I have also set up Max Draw Distances for every single one. For better performance, I have also disabled “Cast Shadows” on some lights. I was wondering, is this the best way to do a dark level? Are Point Lights costly? If so, what else can I use?
