Best lighting setup for an exterior scene?

Hi there!

I am trying to do a small scene with loads of vegetation for a high res image I want to create so FPS isn’t really important. I just want the best possible quality and setup.
I haven’t done a scene for ages so loads of new things are now in UE4. For example Distance Fields is widely used, new cinecamera and so on.
I’ve watched few tutorials and scene setups. Like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=grN5Yd55UIM and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FzoY062kY1s and few others.

So how would one approach it? Is distance fields turned on? Or is everything baked?

I am going for overcast day look, but for now it has direct lighting. So the view on greenery:

For some reason vegetation has really odd shadowing. Also the landscape has weird lighting issues.

I’ve replaced sky setup and replace it with skysphere from editor assets and applied an HDRI. Also does skylight need shadows turned on? At the moment they are off. I feel like I am overcomplicating things and need a restart on lighting setup.

Thanks!
