Assigning additional materials to parts of a model?

How do you add and assign additional materials to parts of a model that you have already imported?

You have to create material slots in your 3d program so that you can add more materials: :slight_smile:

ok, I was just hoping that UE4 had a way to do it.

There’s no way in UE4 to assign additional materials to a mesh without there already being multiple material ID’s applied–that has to be done in your 3D program.
