Im making a character in maya and the character is a scientist and he is wearing a lab coat. When I animate the character, I want the lab coat to move like a real person wearing a lab coat walking. To do this, do I have to make it separate from the character? and how?
You can put bones on the lab coat ends when it’s supposed to move. Then in UE, you can use APEX clothing physics to run it.
