I am new to Unreal so it may be a very basic question. Here’s my problem:
When I am importing the objects into my Unreal scene, I get this message.
Do you want to replace the existing asset?
An asset already exists at the import location: /Game/<location>
Then, whether I click yes or no. I do not see the mesh in the scene (but the meshes are actually there). The static Mesh does not show me the object in viewport. But, when I click on each static mesh, and then assign that to the same name in the dropdown (as shown in image), I am able to see the mesh in the viewport. Images attached.
Anyone know what I can do to fix it? or if I am doing something incorrectly during the import process.
