Yes, re-using the same montage in two spots seems like a good idea to me…

Btw, potentially the slot blending position could be changed so that the AO takes care of the aming.

Now that’s arguable, because normally you want AO before the montage like you have it.
But swapping (well, actually having a dedicated pre AO montage slot) has helped a lot in some cases.

Aside from that, provided you have the correct bone selected for the montage slots, the setup looks Good to me.
